Francis Obikewlu coasted to victory in the men's 100 meters Saturday at an IAAF outdoor meet in Seville, Spain, that was plagued by high winds and faulty equipment. Asafa Powell bounced back from his disappointing third place at the world championships on Sunday when he broke his 100-meter world record with a time of 9.74 seconds.
